Primal Provisions food truck

foraged from the fires of passion

Primal Provisions was foraged from the fires of passion - a passion for real food prepared in its primal form. Harkening back to a time when "real" food was just food. This means our delicious offerings will be locally sourced, organic, prepared from scratch whenever possible and when applicable, fried in tallow. It is how we eat at home and what you can expect from us. No seed oils, nothing ultra-processed.

We are grateful to have the opportunity, one we take very seriously, to provide good food that you can feel good about to the people of Vermont and beyond. And we will do so while fostering a culture of positivity, gratitude and integrity.

So who is the aforementioned  “we”? Well, Primal Provisions is composed of three friends who became acquainted sometime in the mid 1990’s. The owners James, Rick and Annie currently reside in Franklin county and enjoy music, cows, the woods, goats, the woods, farms, maple syrup and making and consuming delicious food. The universe initiated a series of events that have ultimately led us to starting a food truck and thus Primal Provisions was born. We are thrilled to take our talents and eats to the streets. See you there!

Testimonials

Dillon Irving

Man, their food hits the spot. The burger is cooked just right -- juicy, flavorful, and those homemade pickles on top take it to another level. Fries were crispy and seasoned just right. Service was quick and super friendly. Just good food, good people, good vibes.

I can honestly say when it comes to Primal Provisions, they have exceeded all expectations and found a way to make fast dining great again. It is truly great food, made by great people. In such a volatile industry, it is comforting to see people who still care about quality, community, and service.
